What Is a Duplicate Line Remover?
A duplicate line remover scans a block of text line by line and deletes any repeated entries, keeping only the first occurrence of each unique line in its original order. It's a fast way to clean up messy lists, exported data, or copy-pasted content.
The NexaTools Remove Duplicate Lines tool runs entirely inside your browser. Nothing you paste is uploaded to a server, so it's safe to use on internal lists, email addresses, or any content you'd rather keep private.

Who Should Use This Tool
This duplicate line remover is built for anyone who works with lists and exported data. That includes:
Marketers cleaning up email lists before an outreach campaign.
Developers deduplicating log files, keyword lists, or CSV exports.
Analysts tidying pasted spreadsheet data before further processing.
Writers cleaning up notes or bibliographies with repeated entries.
Common Use Cases
Cleaning contact lists. Remove repeated email addresses or usernames before importing them elsewhere.
Deduplicating keyword lists. Strip repeated keywords from an SEO research export.
Tidying pasted data. Clean up lines copied from spreadsheets or other tools before reusing them.
Simplifying logs. Reduce a long log file to only its unique lines for a quick scan.
Common Problems & Troubleshooting
Some lines that look identical weren't removed. Check the case-sensitive option; "Apple" and "apple" are only merged when case-sensitive matching is turned off.
Lines with extra spaces weren't matched. Enable "Trim whitespace before comparing" so leading and trailing spaces don't count as differences.
Copy button doesn't seem to work. Some browsers block clipboard access until you interact with the page first; click anywhere on the page, then try Copy Result again.
